There are many possible causes for the old “Unretrieved” to pop up.

• If it’s a view or a query, this has been very well covered at http://community.dynamics.com/ax/b/axvanyakashperuk/archive/2011/10/28/tutorial-ax-2012-invalid-field-access-or-accessing-unretrieved-fields.aspx#.UYvE8rXvsWA
• Check for table inheritance – I would guess that bad data in inherited/inheriting tables would cause this
• Caching – always a bugger – but definitely one of the suspects.
• Configuration. If you do not have, for example, Russian functionality enabled, then the _RU fields will show up as Unretrieved.
